YOUTH CAPACITY BUILDING

Youth are not only the leaders of tomorrow, but also partners of today. Young people are social actors of change and progress and their contribution is highly important. Their bubbling enthusiasm should be regulated and should be utilized in the right way. They must be provided appropriate exposures and opportunities to be main stream and be the change we want in the society.

Believing in this, SVADES always encourages the integrated Capacity building through vocational training and personality development among youth. Youth develops self-confidence and master the skills through such trainings and vocational programs.

Different 25 Youth clubs have been established comprises of 518 youths who are actively involved in conducting Blood donation camps, Shramdan for village cleanliness drives and community plantation on annual basis. Inter Youth Club Sports events like Marathon Race at village level, Cycle Rally, Volleyball & Cricket Matches are organized on regular basis to enhance team spirit and inculcate sportsmanship and unity values among them. They are trained to take leadership role in their own villages.

Inline to build capacities of these youth, SVADES has carried out training programs like; TV repair, Wiremen, Fitter, Basic Computer, Plumbing, Four Wheeler Driving, Repairing of Two Wheelers, etc. Some youths have been gainfully employed on contract basis by Industries, whereas some have opted for Self-Employment.
