VILLAGE INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT

At SVADES, we believe that infrastructure is empowerment. Our focus lies in reducing the daily drudgery faced by women and fostering prosperity in rural communities through improved connectivity and access to essential services at the village level.

Roads That Connect Lives

To bridge isolation and enable mobility, SVADES has invested significantly in rural road development. We have laid 10.50 kilometres of critical link roads, interconnecting 13 villages—a transformative boon, especially during the monsoon season, when access is most vulnerable.

Safe Drinking Water for All

Villages surrounding industrial belts often lack reliable sources of safe drinking water. SVADES has responded by initiating and commissioning village-level water supply schemes. Our efforts include:

Construction of underground water tanks and bore wells

Installation of 11.16 kilometres of pipelines across 8 villages

Direct benefit to over 2,200 families, ensuring access to clean water

Housing with Dignity

Under the Sardar Awas Yojana, SVADES has constructed 128 low-cost houses in 10 Panchayat villages, providing secure shelter to families living below the poverty line. These homes represent more than just infrastructure—they restore dignity, safety, and hope.

Strengthening Early Childhood Education

SVADES has upgraded infrastructure in over 45 Aanganwadi, reinforcing the importance of pre-school education. Our enhancements include:

Repairs and renovations of existing structures

Development of kitchen and wash areas for safe nutrition and hygiene

Introduction of SMART Aanganwadi features, along with toys and books

Provision of cooking equipment for mid-day meals

Installation of safety grills, and repair/replacement of doors and windows

These upgrades ensure that children begin their educational journey in safe, nurturing, and stimulating environments.

Empowering Education Through Infrastructure

SVADES is deeply committed to strengthening the educational foundation in rural communities. Beyond renovating and upgrading existing facilities, we have constructed new classrooms and developed entire school campuses to create vibrant, inclusive learning environments.

Training and operations & maintenance (O&M) of the provided facilities are integral to every SVADES initiative, ensuring long-term sustainability and community ownership.

Transforming Primary Schools

Our school infrastructure initiatives include:

Establishment of SMART Classes for digital learning

Creation of STEM working model laboratories to spark curiosity

Setup of libraries to nurture reading habits

Installation of mike systems and CCTV for safety and communication

Construction of multi-purpose sheds for community and school use

Provision of benches, mural paintings, and drinking water facilities to enhance comfort and engagement

These integrated efforts cultivate a culture of learning and dignity, playing a pivotal role in strengthening foundational education and creating safe, inclusive spaces where children in rural communities can thrive.
